Hemnagar/ Kalitala in Hingalganj
This is
on the extreme southern point of North 24-Parganas
District and is situated on the bank of River Roymangal.
This is very nearer to Bagna Range of STR. The density
of luxurious mangroves with larger tiger population
prevails in this zone. Two important forest watch towers
viz. Jhingakhali and Burir Dabar (with Catwalk)
can easily be approached from this point in minimum
time. The vast span of Roymangal River with influx of
seawater in the backdrop of mangrove forest
creates an enchanting atmosphere in the heart of the
visitors. Numerous fishing boats in operation in the
mouth of this estuary draw a unique paint on the canvas
of nature and highlight the reality of Man and
Biosphere of this ecosystem.
