Sajnekhali / Pakhiralay in Gosaba
Sajnekhali, the pioneer tourism spot and
entry point to STR has immense potential for weekend
tourists, nature tourism and bird watching. This is one
of the three Sanctuaries of SBR. This is within STR
having all wildernesses of this swampy forest. The
Mangrove Interpretation Centre, Watch Tower, open zoo
like atmosphere attract the visitors for all the time.
The transit point may be at Pakhiralaya opposite to
Sajnekhali having some tourism infrastructure though not
so presentable as yet.
