Jharkhali in Basanti
Situated on the confluence of river Matla and Herobhanga
in Basanti PS. Sundarban Tiger Reserve starts from other
side of river Herobhanga. Beyond Jharkhali there are
dense mangrove forests, the land of Royal Bengal Tigers,
Spotted Deer, Wild Boars and Estuarine Crocodiles. The
evergreen mangroves and numerous water bodies with all
wildernesses attract the visitors to enjoy its dangerous
